Capacity Building Training for 50 Women Entrepreneurs with Disabilities

 Training on Capacity Building for Women Entrepreneurs with Disabilities

Access Bangladesh Foundation with the support of EMK Center of the US Embassy arranged a 6-day Capacity building residential training for Women Entrepreneurs with Disabilities to engage them in the E-commerce platform. Selected 50 women entrepreneurs with disabilities from 17 districts of 7 divisions, Bangladesh received training from 25th to 30th July 2022 in two batches.
Professor Mr. Imran Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) joined the inaugural of the 1st batch of training as a chief guest. Ms. Shaeen Anam, Executive Director of the Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF) also joined the program as a special guest. Both of them appreciated the initiative and assured their cooperation in the coming days.
The 2nd batch training program’s chief guest, Mr. Manik Mahmood, Head of Social Innovation and Operation Cluster, a2i and special guest Ms. Nasima Akter Nisa, Founder and President of Women and e-commerce (WE) acknowledged the importance of the program and highlighted the ways of joining with their e-commerce platforms. Representatives from a2i, Daraz and WE also facilitated sessions on ways to connect with their platform.
Access Bangladesh thanks EMK Center for their generous support as well as Ekshop of a2i, WE and Daraz for their efforts to connect women entrepreneurs with disabilities with their e-commerce platforms.
